Active Shooter Guidance for Disability Service Providers: Inclusive Solutions Start With Difficult Conversations

Arizona Partners in Preparedness brings together local community members along with emergency management to work on innovative approaches to inclusive disaster readiness. This allows for a more effective understanding of, and response for, the 61 million Americans who have disabilities.

 

Since 2011, there have been six statewide Partners in Preparedness Summits in Arizona. These were one and two-day in-person conferences. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Partners in Preparedness Summit has moved to an online webinar format.
