The Americans with Disabilities Act and the Rights of Arizona Voters with Disabilities
Please join the United States Attorney’s Office for the District of Arizona and the Department of Justice’s Disability Rights Section, Civil Rights Division, for a virtual listening session on The Americans with Disabilities Act and the Rights of Arizona Voters with Disabilities
We are looking forward to hearing and learning from advocates, community partners, and individuals about experiences with any barriers faced by individuals with disabilities in all aspects of the voting process.
This includes experiences encountered when:
- registering to vote
- obtaining voting or election information
- voting absentee
- voting in person
- polling place accessibility
- receiving assistance in voting.
The event will be a virtual event held via Zoom at the link below. ASL interpretation and closed captioning will be provided. If you need a reasonable accommodation to virtually attend this presentation, please contact Diane Turner at [email protected] by May 9, 2024.
