BLOOM365 SAFETY FOR ALL SUMMIT
Elevating school, family, caregiver and community collaborations to educate and activate Arizona to prevent sexual violence against youth with disabilities.
Students with disabilities across Arizona have multiple needs that affect their ability to access safety and healing after experiencing or being exposed to sexual violence.
Sexual violence is an umbrella term that includes sexual abuse, sexual harassment, rape, sexual coercion, sexual grooming, sex trafficking, etc. Sexual violence is perpetrated through threats, coercion, control, force, exploitation, deceit, physical or mental incapacitation, and /or abuse of power/authority.
The Safety for All Summit will address how school professionals, in collaboration with parents and caregivers, can support and empower students with disabilities who have experienced or been exposed to sexual violence victimization.
WHAT TO EXPECT: The Safety for All Summit is an in-person, learning and community-building opportunity featuring a keynote speaker, two interactive learning sessions, a panel discussion, lunch, and exhibitors. (Full agenda will be sent to registrants prior to the Summit.)
