The Navajo/Apache Region’s Early Childhood Conference is a professional development event presented by the First Things First Navajo/Apache Regional Partnership Council. Six hours of professional development credits will be available.
The conference is open to all Navajo and Apache County early childhood professionals - educators, medical and behavioral health providers, and other stakeholders. This event will allow professionals working with, or on behalf of children birth to age five to learn, collaborate and share best practices across the areas of early education, health, and family supports.
The three learning tracks include:
1. Promoting Early Childhood Health and Wellness
2. Providing Developmentally Effective Practices in Early Learning
3. Supporting Child and Family Resilience Using a Trauma-Informed Lens
Our goal is to have many presenters from across the state, including our local experts in early childhood.
