Future Planning: A Roadmap of our Futures, Our Wishes

The University of Arizona's Sonoran University Center for Excellence in Disabilities Education, Research, and Service (UCEDD) is offering three FREE training classes for family caregivers.
Planning for the future of adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities is an important and necessary thing to do. Making a plan can also be hard. Some families don’t know how to start. The training is called “Future Planning: A Roadmap of our Futures, Our Wishes.”
This training will talk about:
1. Parts of a plan
2. Options to consider
3. Talking about wishes and fears
4. Coordinating help and support
5. Resources and planning tools
The training class will be from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Families must register because of the size of the room. There will be one training in Phoenix and two in Tucson. The dates and locations are:
1. Friday, September 8, 2017 at Ability360. Address: 5025 E. Washington Street (Phoenix)
2. Wednesday, September 13 at DIRECT Center for Independence. Address: 1001 N. Alvernon Way (Tucson)
