Maricopa County Housing Choice Vouchers Application Period

It's time to submit an online pre-application for the Housing Choice Voucher Waiting List for Maricopa County residents.

Starting July 10 at 8:00 a.m., residents of Maricopa County can submit a pre-application until July 23 at 5:00 p.m.

The program is searching for adults ages 18 - 61 who receive very low income and who have disabilities. People can fill out the pre-application by clicking this link: https://www.hominc.com/mainstream-housing-opportunities/

Applicants already on waiting lists for other housing programs must apply separately for this program. Applicants will not lose their place on other waiting lists with other housing agencies when they apply for assistance in this program.

The Mainstream Housing Opportunities for Persons with Disabilities Program (Mainstream Program) provides Section 8 Housing Choice Vouchers to eligible disabled families. Eligibility criteria for this program are detailed below.

HOM, Inc., on behalf of Arizona Behavioral Health Corporation, will conduct an online open enrollment to accept pre-applications for the Mainstream Housing Opportunities for Persons with Disabilities Program. HOM, Inc., has established a preference for twenty-two (22) Mainstream Housing Choice Vouchers for applicants who are non-elderly (ages 18 – 61) persons with disabilities who are transitioning out of institutional or other segregated settings, at serious risk of institutionalization, homeless or at risk of becoming homeless.
