New Parent Mentor Workshop

DSNetwork parent meeting
Date/Time:
Saturday, January 28, 2017 - 1:00pm to 3:00pm

Mentors play an important role in helping to welcome new parents and new Arizona families to the Down syndrome community. From the first diagnosis, new parent mentors connect families with resources as well as programs and services that local support group DSNetwork offers for each stage of their journey.

This training will provide you with the tools to guide you on becoming a mentor to new parent.

The DSNetwork-hosted workshop will take place in the Prescott Room of the Pyle Adult Recreation Center, located at 655 E. Southern Avenue in Tempe on the southwest corner of Rural Road and Southern Avenue.

It begins at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 28, 2017. The workshop wraps up at 3:00 p.m.
