The Peoria SUPPORT Awareness Series will tackle disability-related topics on Sept. 28, 2016.

The Council is teaming up with the City of Peoria to host a disability resources seminar as part of the Peoria SUPPORT Awareness Series. We’ll look at issues from the perspectives of service animal owners and members of the community who encounter them in public settings, all led out by the Arizona Center for Disability Law. Staff from the City of Peoria Community Center will talk about their specialized adaptive activities for persons with developmental disabilities, and the Arizona Technology Access Program will present cutting-edge devices available for loan to make everyday tasks easier.
