Arizona Technology Access Program's (AzTAP) New Adaptive Video Gaming Clinic

Home based video gaming systems have historically had no accessibility options or features for persons with disabilities. As the games have become increasingly sophisticated, they have become even more inaccessible. It has only been in the last decade that significant advancements have been made in the accessibility of these gaming systems, the games themselves, and in the development of adaptive access technology. This month, AzTAP is launching an Adaptive Gaming Clinic, a free service specifically designed to provide both children and adults with disabilities the opportunity to meet their gaming goals by adapting hardware and settings to best fit their body and their needs.
