Your Voice Matters: How to Effect Change in the Legislative Process" is all about learning to speak up for yourself and your community. You'll learn about self-advocacy, understand why your voice matters, learn how to use your voice when reaching out to legislation, what a bill is, receive public speaking tips, and about legislative committees. The first hour of the training will be hybrid from 12:30 to 1:30 PM (MST). If you are joining us virtually on Zoom, you will have the option to continue with us for another hour to get more advanced training about committees and testifying!
